Middle school musicians perform Feb. 11 at Showalter Music Festival

POWELL, Wyo. - Outstanding performers from the Showalter Memorial Music Festival will present a free concert at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium at Northwest College in Powell.

The festival is named in memory of Victor Showalter, a former music professor at NWC who launched the first festival over 40 years ago. It’s open to brass, woodwind, percussion, piano and voice students in grades five through eight.
